Underlay

The most important detail when it comes to new flooring is the comfort. That is why we highly recommend that you use some of our fantastic underlay with your brand new flooring.

What Does Underlay Do?

Underlay creates an imperative barrier between the subfloor and the base of the laminate. Most of our underlays have a built in moisture barrier which helps to keep your floor in perfect condition. Underlays like our XPS and fibreboard as well as the Quickstep Thermolevel also offer some level of protection when your subfloor has some minor imperfections.

Always read the manufacturers instruction to see if your subfloor will need any additional preparation work before laying any laminate floor.
