What we need?

Floorstyle Ltd will be known as the ‘Controller’ of the personal data that you provide. Floorstyle will only collect basic personal data about you, such as name, address, e-mail, etc., which does not include any special types of information or location based information.

Why we need it?

Floorstyle Ltd require your basic personal data in order to provide you with updates on the status of your order or product. We will not seek to collect any personal data from you that is not required.

What we do with it?

All of the personal data requested is processed by our staff at Floorstyle Ltd. For the purposes of IT hosting and maintenance, this information is located on local servers. However, no third parties have access to your personal data unless the law allows them to do so.

Floorstyle Ltd have a Data Protection procedure in place to oversee the effective and secure processing of your personal data.

How long we keep it?

Floorstyle are required, under UK tax law, to retain your basic personal data (ie. name, address, contact details) for a minimum of six years from completion of a purchase, after which time, it will be destroyed. Information that we use for marketing purposes will be retained until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive this information.

What we would also like to do with it?

We would, however, like to use your name and email address to inform you of our future offers and similar products. This information is not shared with third parties and you can unsubscribe at any time via phone, email or our website.

What are your rights?

If at any point you believe that the information Floorstyle Ltd processes about you is incorrect, you can request to view this information. You may also request that incorrect information be amended or deleted. If you wish to raise a complaint about how Floorstyle have handled your personal data, you can contact our Data Protection Officer who will investigate the matter.

If you are not satisfied with our response, or believe we are processing your personal data contrary to the law, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
