Difference between Luxury Vinyl Tiles (LVT) and Sheet Vinyl

Luxury Vinyl Tiles (LVT) are individual tiles or planks that are glued down to a subfloor with pressure sensitive adhesive. Using a range of feature and design strips these can be used to create your unique look. Whether that is herringbone or 45 degree angles with or without borders and everything in between. These also tend to be a bit more durable than normal vinyl.

Sheet vinyls are available in 2,3 and 4m wide, in a number of designs ranging from plank effect to tile effect, gloss or matt finish. These tend to be quicker to fit than LVT as it is stuck down with spray adhesive and with it being in one piece it is normally a case of cutting in to the shape of the room.

All vinyls must have a perfect flat surface whether that is a screeded subfloor or whether you have fitted a new ply base.
